This is a project created by Flying Donut for you. It is a private project where you can test the functionality of Flying Donut.

You can:

  • Edit a title by clicking on it. Tip: You edit all fields the same way. Click and edit!
  • Edit the dates by clicking on the date placeholders.
  • Edit the estimates by clicking on the respective labels of the cards and the tasks.

Start by adding cards in the backlog. Don’t worry about the time frames yet. Add any card that comes to mind. The card priority is based on their order, from to top to bottom. If you have many cards make use of the backlog buckets to group them in logical units or any other way you like to.

Then split your project into time frames. The sprints are your time frames. Create only a few of them (the first ones that come to mind). Then start moving cards from the backlog into the sprints. Start with the first sprint and leave the next sprint for when it is time to do so.

In the sprints you will:

  • Move the cards from the backlog to the sprint, in Planning.
  • Estimate your cards.
  • You may add tasks to your cards here. As a rule of thumb, the maximum effort estimate for a task should not exceed 12 hours.
  • Track the progress of the sprint in the Task Board. Move your tasks from To Do to Doing to Done. Don’t forget to create the tasks you discover as you go.
  • Review your sprint in Review. This is where you do a recap and validate that you’ve completed everything you should.

There are no sprints in the project.
