One home for your team's work, people and billing
An organization owns your projects and workspaces, decides who manages them, and pays for them, so everyone knows where work lives and who looks after it.
The problem
When projects belong to individual people, access and billing follow whoever happened to create them. People leave, projects get stranded, and nobody is sure who pays for what. Flying Donut puts every project and workspace in an organization instead.
How Flying Donut helps
- Every account starts with a personal organization, free on the Free plan
- Create an organization for your company and run all its projects and workspaces there
- Projects and workspaces belong to the organization, not to a person
- Admins open every project; User admins manage people and settings without opening the work
- Billing admins handle plans, invoices and AI credit packs
- Add colleagues to a project or workspace in one step, with no invitation to accept
- Invite people from outside by email when you need them
- Let colleagues join through your verified company email domain
- Move projects and workspaces between organizations, with a preview of who gains and loses access
- See every organization you belong to, and your role in each, from the sidebar
Pay only for the people who work
Each organization pays for its billable members: the people who work in its private projects and workspaces, and its Admins once it has a private project. Followers, User admins and Billing admins are free, and each person counts once however many projects they are in.
- One plan, payment method and invoice history per organization
- Purchased AI credits are shared by the whole organization
- Cancel at any time; the plan keeps working until the end of the billing period
Joining through your email domain
Verify your company's email domain once, and colleagues with a verified email on it can find your organization. Choose whether they join with one click, ask an Admin first, or join automatically. They always join as Members and see only the projects they are added to.
